Violin Lessons
High quality online and in-person private violin lessons for kids (ages 7+) and adults. I make learning the violin fun while also teaching solid technique and variety of styles.
Piano Lessons
Piano is one of the most popular instruments to learn for students (ages 7+). I teach private online and in-person lessons. Any music styles and incorporate music theory fundamentals.
Viola Lessons
Closely related to the violin, the viola offers warm, mellow sound. With individualized lesson plans, you will improve your playing skills and build confidence for orchestra participation, if that is your goal.

Meet Your Teacher Mrs. Lockyear
I am a full time professional musician who is passionate about music education. I have been teaching violin, viola and piano since 2001.
In addition to maintaining my private music studio, I served a two-year term as a music teacher for Toutle Lake Elementary School, WA, and a two-year term as a music instructor for the Kids’ Orchestra school, LA. Also, I'm an active faculty member of Lower Columbia College, WA.
